Tylö Sauna Heaters and Their Signature Features
Tylö heaters are packed with distinctive, patented features:
- Thermosafe cool-touch shell: a velvety flocked coating keeps the front and sides of the heater at a safe, low temperature (around 40°C), reducing the risk of accidental contact burns, ideal for family homes.
- Divided (staged) output: the heating elements cycle in stages rather than fully on and off, giving a constant temperature and up to 30% energy savings.
- Deep central stone compartment: ensures almost all water poured over the stones turns to steam for excellent löyly.
- Fast heat-up: Tylö heaters reach normal sauna temperature quickly, saving time and energy.
- Use with or without stones: a unique Tylö feature offering extra flexibility.

The Tylö Combi: Dry Sauna and Soft Steam in One
Tylö's Sense Combi heaters are a genuine marvel, the original "steaming" sauna heater. A separate steam reservoir lets you enjoy a traditional high-heat, low-humidity sauna, or switch to "Soft Sauna" mode with lower heat and higher humidity for a milder, steam-like experience, all in the same room. It effectively gives you two saunas in one, with an aromatherapy dispenser and automatic drying cycle on premium models.
Tylö Steam Rooms and Steam Generators
Beyond saunas, Tylö is a leader in steam. Its steam generators and steam room systems are trusted worldwide for reliable, abundant, soft steam, making them ideal for home and commercial steam rooms and hammams. Pair with our steam generators service, and keep everything running with regular steam system servicing. For sizing help, see our steam generator buying and sizing guide.
Infrared and Hybrid Options
Tylö also offers infrared cabins and hybrid InfraSauna solutions that combine traditional and infrared heat in one space, giving you the flexibility to choose intense dry heat or gentle, targeted infrared warmth for recovery.
Smart Control
Tylö's touchscreen and WiFi-enabled control panels let you program your sauna up to 24 hours in advance, set run times, adjust steam-room lighting, switch temperature units and more. A quality sauna control panel makes daily use effortless and precise.
Which Size Do You Need?
